No tourcard for Eva in 2010!

La Manga, Spain: Austrian Eva Steinberger missed her tourcard for the 2010 Ladies European Tour. She scored 83/75/77 and did not make the cut of the best 50 players who received a tourcad after round 4. This means for Eva that after 5 years on the LET she will not be able to play full time in 2010 and will have to try and get some invitations and hopefully get starts in some smaller events at the end of the season.

After the dissappointing season in 2009, Eva travelled home and think about her future and will make her decision public in January. Eva might stop playing altogether, try a new start and play the SAS Masters Tour in Sweden or hope for as many starts as possible on the LET.

Manager Christoph Ammann: "We will see what she wants to do. Most of the sponsors are ready to support Eva again in 2010 and we would also have a good deal with Callaway Austria as well. Budgetwise she will be fine, but she must want to play and to restart!"

Eva added: "I want to thank all my sponsors and supporters for five very interesting years on the Ladies European Tour. Thanks to my team and my coaches - we tried hard but it did not work this year! At the moment I only want to wish everybody a very merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!" .
